*APEX/Foreign Language online learning Courses:
The Internet courses listed on the bottom of the schedule
are available to students at any time during the day. A teacher will be
assigned as a mentor, but the student is responsible for the time
management and completion of lessons. These courses are challenging and
for highly motivated students. The course is completed by taking the
College Board Exam. With a qualifying grade of 3 or higher, over 90% of
colleges have a policy to grant academic credit and/or placement to
students. APEX Courses are available online at any time: Calculus AB;
Chemistry; English Language and Composition; English Literature and
Composition; Macroeconomics; Microeconomics; Physics B; Statistics; US
Government and Politics; US History. . AP coursework will be assigned
grades based on the expanded Grade Average schedule in the Student Handbook.
Cumulative GPA will be figured using a weighted system for regular classes
and AP courses. (See Mrs. Funk or Mrs. Burnham for more information
and enrollment) |
